🚧 Known Issues & Workarounds (Select List)

  • Upgrade Restrictions

    • You must be on NDB 2.6.x or later to upgrade. Earlier versions require a step-up upgrade path.

  • Agent Upgrade Errors

    • Known issues with upgrade errors like "Expecting value: line 1 column 1" or "Era Cluster Agent upgrade" errors — retrying usually resolves the issue (see KB 14802).

  • PostgreSQL

    • Cloning may fail with older profiles; use updated software profiles.

    • Archive log storage may run out of space — increase mount point size if needed.

  • Oracle

    • Oracle RAC fails if SID exceeds 8 characters (Oracle 11.2.0.1, 12.1.0.2).

    • Oracle 21c upgrades unsupported if TDE is enabled.

    • Kernel parameter tweaks may be needed to prevent provisioning hangs.

  • SQL Server

    • Provisioning can fail if Task Scheduler is blocked by GPO.

    • VirtIO 1.2.4 causes instability — recommended to use versions 1.2.3 or 1.1.7.

  • MongoDB

    • In-place restores for replica sets unsupported — use clones.

    • Sharded cluster clean-up may require manual intervention post-abort.

  • UI & Misc

    • VLAN selection UI quirks — use checkboxes to ensure persistence.

    • Cannot provide an empty SSH key via API during provisioning.
