Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some effective guidance on how to prepare for the Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI) exam in a practical and result-oriented way.

Rather than just reading through the course material, I’d like to know:

  • How and where to get the most hands-on experience (labs, simulations, or community editions).

  • The best structured learning flow that helped others grasp core concepts like storage, networking, and data protection.

  • Any tips or personal study methods that made a real difference during your NCP-MCI journey.

I’d love to hear from professionals who’ve already cleared the certification — especially on what worked best for you and what to avoid.

Thanks in advance for sharing your insights and helping fellow learners get practical with Nutanix! 🙌

Hello!

Check out my little prep-guide: https://en.vmik.net/2025/08/ntnx-ncm-mci610-exam-prep/

Hi,

How to prepare for the NCP exam really depends on your experience with Nutanix AOS.

Questions are straight forward and so is answering of them. Careful reading is a must.

If you have experience with the system, you can just focus on the topics you are not familiar with. For me that’s always the analysis part. I always mix up the entity and metric charts. You just don’t have Prism as a reference during the NCP exam.

Getting experience can be hard when you don’t have a cluster available. Demo.nutanix.com or CE can be helpful.

Just get the topics from the exam blueprint and start clicking. With no hands-on experience, the exam is very difficult to pass.

Very useful resource is the Nutanix Bible. The purpose of The Nutanix Cloud Bible is to provide in-depth technical information about the Nutanix platform architecture and how it can enable smooth operations across cloud, edge, and core environments. You can find this at https://www.nutanixbible.com.

And last but not leasta, you can use this forum to get some help. There is always someone online to help.
