During a support case, an engineer might inquire about the version of one or more Nutanix products for which the case has been opened. If the version inquiry is done through email, you may need to find the version of a product without live assistance.

While most versions can be found from the Prism or the product’s graphical UI, there are some product versions that can be found via the CLI if necessary. For example, Foundation and Calm versions can also be found using the CLI.
