I’m trying to reconfig my ip addresses for the cvm but i cannot find the external_ip_reconfig script anywhere.

Do I have to download this from the site?

@johnnyb84

Script(executed by following command) can run once you log into the CVM. The script is in built

nutanix@cvm$ external_ip_reconfig

CHANGING THE CONTROLLER VM IP ADDRESSES IN YOUR NUTANIX CLUSTER (CLI SCRIPT

https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/docs/details?targetId=Advanced-Admin-AOS-v5_16:ipc-cvm-ip-address-reconfigure-t.html

  1. What version of AOS you are using
  2. Have you tried running the above command ? if yes, did it run or gave any error ?

No i cannot run it and it’s not anywhere on any of my cvm. currently my nutanix system is a 2u brick because i can’t change the IP.

Hey @johnnyb84

Can you give some information about your AOS version?

You can find the AOS version by running the command

ncli cluster info

And also share the output when you try to execute the command

external_ip_reconfig

Don’t worry I’ve managed to get it working using edit-zkmapping and edit-zeus commands.
