Hi ! Everyone,

Does anyone know that Nutanix G7 Model has two built-in M.2 SSDs,

is it possible to do Raid 1?

How to do it?

Thanks

Hello @Wei Cheng  thank you for posting on community.

The default configuration of M2 is RAID 1 only as described here https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=NX8150G7-m2-Replacement-AHV:bre-m2-hypervisor-boot-drive-failure-singlem2-c.html

This can be reconfigured using mvcli. If you have to replace any card and recreate the raid, or if you are getting raid configuration error in NCC, please create a support case we will assist you with same. Modifying RAID configuration to anything apart from default is not recommended.

Hi Sudhir9

Will M.2 Raid be built in Foundaton deployment?

We don't need to manually build Raid first?

M.2 Raid will only be built in G7, not G6?

Thank you

Hello @Wei Cheng, Yes it will be crested by the foundation itself you don’t need to do anything manually.

Some G6 HW comes with M2 as well.
