Assuming this is for commercial nutanix and not CE? Have you opened a case?

it's demo unit that has no upgrade

So you mean no support? Hmm this will be an interesting one as CE has no firmware management because of its nature. Jon what are your thoughts here? Has to be some way to get some help maybe in the regular forums for commercial?

- is this for the NX-1350 serial number ending *0026?

It would really benefit your firm to re-up that support contract, so that you can easily get support in a timely fashion for any sort of issues you might run into.

In the absense of support, You should be able to re-foundation the system using bare metal IPMI MAC, which will bypass this issue all together.

That said, I'm curious, what BIOS file were you using on the 1350?

- thanks. I did a bit of digging, and it looks like you hit a bug, in the Prism GUI, where it displayed the wrong firmware upgrade file.

If anyone else hits this, just open a support ticket, as there is a recovery procedure for it (to get the system out of that mode).

We'll have this fixed up shortly in a future version of NOS.
