For CE you need a minimum of 2 disk and a usb stick. (Or 3 disks).

Disks:

  1. AHV Boot. This can be an usb stick as well.

  2. CVM.

  3. Data.

in your case, make sure the disks are accessible not via raid. and make sure there is, at least, 1 ssd.

Hi Jeroen Tielen,

Thankyou for the answer,

I have another questiong :

  • At least 1 ssd is a must? and impossible without SSD?
  • Its impossible using Raid disk? how about 2 Raid(1 for CVM and 1 for Data?

Thankyou

I recommend taking a look at the Getting Started with CE Guide and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements found here: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Nutanix-Community-Edition-Getting-Started

There is a hard requirement of 1 SSD for the CVM, the others can just be spinning HDDs.    You should be able to put the RAID adapter in your G9 in Pass-thru mode which will allow you to use those disks without RAID configured.
