How Prism Leader election happen ?

Can you please help me with below questions

1.How prism master/Acropolis master will be elected ? is there any criteria to become a leader ?

with the RF3 Nutanix keep total three copy of data , one copy is local and two copy cross the cluster so if you still loss one more node your cluster will have no impact.
