Dears: Currently, I found a problem when using Prometheus to monitor Nutanix Objects according to https://prism IP:9440/oss/api/nutanix/metrics. This works fine for a long time.But when our AD team disable NTLM v1 in domain controller, problem happened, Prometheus could not work as before to get the data from API.Current Prometheus config is like below:- job_name: 'object_exporter_bucketname’ metrics_path: /oss/api/nutanix/metrics/[object store name]/[bucket name] scheme: https scrape_interval: 90s static_configs: - targets: ［https://Prism Central IP:9440］ tls_config: insecure_skip_verify: true basic_auth: username: ［Prism Central service account］ password: ［Password of service account］ Anyone know if NTLM v1 is used during API authentication?

Hi team:We are doing POC for Nutanix Objects. So far function testing has no problems, but we have a question about backup: How to backup objects which is located Nutanix Objects? I don’t know if there are 3rd backup software supports to backup objects in Nutanix Objects. We now use IBM TSM and EMC Networker for on-premises backup for VMDK, file and DB. Thanks!
Hi guys, My customer currently uses CyberArk to do ID management. For Nutanix clusters, I know there are two build-in local IDs: One is admin which could access from Web GUI and CLI, another is nutanix which could access from CLI. I want to know:Any references which other cases use CyberArk to do ID management for Nutanix IDs? admin/nutanix could be disabled? If could not be disabled, could these IDs be managed by CyberArk? Dears:I saw AOS 6.7.1 is released right now with support ESXi 8.0. But only NX, HPE and DELL are now supported hardware platforms. When will Lenovo support this? Thanks!
As far as I know, Nutanix CVM uses CentOS 7. But from official announcement, CentOS will EOL June 30, 2024. Will Nutanix plan to use another version of CentOS?

Dears:I checked the “Nutanix Disaster Recovery Guide” and found from AOS 6.6, CG replication was supported on async replication, but not on nearsync or sync replication. Any ideas about CG when support near sync replication?The reason why I will have this question is we want to use CG nearsync replication to protect SQL server cluster. (Our RPO is about 10-15 mins), so I am worried about during planned failover or unplanned failover, the SQL server cluster could not start normally. Thank you very much!
Dears: Currently, we have 3 node cluster in PRD site. Now we plan to build the DR ability to build a multiple node cluster in DR site. We have one PC instance in PRD site now. My question is: In order to use protection policy to replicate PRD data to DR site(We plan to use nearSync), do we need to create a new PC instance in DR site?It seems one PC could manage multiple PEs, so one PC instance is enough. But what’s the function for DR site PC? Is it a mechanism to sync data from PRD PC to DR PC?
I have some questions about RF. Support we have a 5 node RF:2 cluster with ESXi virutalization tech. We want to let 2 VMs are only running on 2 nodes(Use affinity rule).My questions: For my understanding, there will be one local copy on these 2 nodes. And because of the design, VMs could contact local CVMs to access local copy. So the performance is good. But if this node is down, the remote copy may be in another 3 nodes. Will the performance become worse because we lost the access the path to access local copy?Thank you very much!
Dears:We have a 3 node pure NVME SSD clusters with RF 2. Now we plan to expand more 5 nodes and change the RF from 2 to 3. We have a little worried about the performance on :(1). During conversion phase from 2 copies to 3 copies.(2). For BAU usage, if RF3 performance will slower than RF2 because every write need do 3 times compared of 2 times. I got the question 1 answer from Nutanix Resiliency – Part 2 – Converting from RF2 to RF3 | CloudXC (joshodgers.com) and want to see any more experience. For question 2, any experiences could be shared? Thank you very much! P.S. We have enabled compression feature.

Dears:I followed the LCM dark site guide to configure the IIS, the screenshot is shown is below: But when I tried to let PC to use local web server, the error showed below: It looks builds folder is not exist in the release folder. I am not sure if this is the key point. Hope anyone could help me. Thanks!
