5 Essential Tips for Maximizing Your Experience at Nutanix .NEXT for Bloggers
Hello Chaitrali Deshpande,In regards with your question, Kindly see below image , Those are the Folders i created in our Nutanix Files. Best regards,
Yes, that is correct. CA-signed certificates can only be obtained from a Certificate Authority. Hello @CarloNX, By default we use self-signed certificate, but it is recommended to replace the default supplied self-signed certificate with a CA signed certificate. Refer: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Nutanix-Security-Guide-v5_15:sec-security-certificate-management-wc-c.html Cheers! Nashma Best Answer too, Thanks.
Oh yes, thank you! So it means i need to purchase a CA signed certificate right?
Alright, Thank you alona! = )
Any of those will fit to nutanix cluster is it correct?
I have the same issue as you, When i checked the NCC logs, It doesnt show any error regarding on Tomcat, then Upon deep checking with nutanix support. The cluster is healthy. What i did is Turn off the alert and turn it on again then the alert is gone.
Hi CarloNX, Take a look at this KB-1478 Recommendation on Firewall Ports Config, let me know if that answers your question. Hello Alona, Thanks for the revert, I see that those ports must be enable since the cluster required it, Though i have already a recommendation from the security scan that i need to generate a CA - Certificate. Do you have any idea on how and where i can get those CA - Certificates?Regards,Carlo
Thanks again for responding to my Question, Actually the VM is already migrated to AOS. What i did is, I discard/delete the existing policy with error then created a new migration policy and rerun from the start, Until the VM is ready to Cutover, VM was successfully migrated to AOS without Error. I don’t get it why i came up with error on the first attempt. i didn’t do the re-installation of VMware tools.
hello @HITESH0801, Thanks! Well appreciated regards,
Hello @HITESH0801 , I have a question, If the Nutanix cluster is connected directly to External Time Source(Public NTP server), What will happen if the the Internet suddenly went down? Does it affects my CVM,Hypervisor, and VM’s? Thank you!
Oh hi there thanks! i just opened a support and found out that my NTP server is using its local time, i think i just need to configure my NTP server to synchronize with reliable time source. Thanks again! :)
