One of the awesome things about community, is the sharing and learning that can happen. It's always encouraging to see others want to help solve problems they are not directly involved in, offer new idea's to old problems and look for new ways of doing things.

It also helps me connect people who may have similar interests, and can benefit from sharing their experiences.

I thought this would be a great place to share what you are working on, get introduced to the community and let us know how we can help. Add your comments below, and let's begin the conversation.

We have an EPIC community, let's connect and help each other power the next generation of enterprise computing.

I am Network Engineer ( native CLI..rsrs ) working with project related WAN, LAN and Wireless inside Cisco environment, however 3 years ago I am looking for to learning much more about Virtualization which started with VMware and now I am arriving in Nutanix. 😃

The other points I am working through to get out of native CLI for more devops ennvironment in order to learning about automation and programmability, as well as work with virtualization on the same way, bring more facilities for day by day. I love to share my knowledge for another people because after that you can learn with more people.
Hello,

Newcomer, learning about HCI, Nutanix.

Currently working on few infrastructure projects, one is the building of an openstack from scratch, another is Dell Infra with VMWare environment + ESET Virtualization security.

Hello! We are a small ASP in Austria done KVM manually so far. Moved to Nutanix Cluster/AHV and try out things in our CE in Office. So far we migrated Office servers totally to the CE - with some problems with multicast on the CE. We like the concept of Dataprotection for desaster recovery the huge I/O boost. Can't wait to migrate our DB cluster to the Nutanix Cluster as soon as the network will be ready for Multisite.
Hi All,

I has just joined into this community group. How to learn from you all 🙂
Working on implementing our first Nutanix cluster
Working on updating our Nutanix cluster to version 5.9 🙂
Currently researching the migration from vmware to AHV. One of the biggest holdups is exploring how we can replicate our backup process to a EMC Data Domain device. We are currently using VDP to back up our vmware.
Currently building a Nutanix Block to replicate our ROBO deployment.
working on building a fresh Nutanix CE at home
We are planning to upgrade to AOS 5.5.8 next week, one-click goodness!
We are currently converting an ESX cluster over to AHV, adding it to our existing cluster. As part of that process we are converting ALL the VMware machines to AHV (With Xtract - great tool). Say goodbye to license costs!

We are also starting to investigate Flow, and how it can be used in our environment. Very cool stuff.
Upgrading the AHV on our 2 Nutanix clusters

Hi,

I'm currently working at VMware vSphere, Windows Hyper-V, Linux KVM and Cisco, 3 Tier environment. Last one year I'm focusing at Nutanix HCI and I completed two certification (NPP 5.0 and NCP 5.5). Recently focusing at NCSE Levels and NCAP.

Planning to upgrade AOS to 5.10.
I am Working on getting my NCP!
Currently starting my Nutanix journey and about to implement across 2 sites.
We are just awaiting delivery and installation of our Nutanix platform. Very exciting. We have purchased two clusters "production" and "DR". Can you point me in the direction of any DR guides/resources as I'll need to be planning a DR failover/failback. 😎
Currently, learning Nutanix and I found it's a bit easier to manage. It can save a lot of time for systems support in managing infra.
Still learning the Nutanix environment, so far the simplicity of creating VM's have lead to a great experience.
Installed Nutanix CE and further to know Nantanix product
