One of the awesome things about community, is the sharing and learning that can happen. It's always encouraging to see others want to help solve problems they are not directly involved in, offer new idea's to old problems and look for new ways of doing things.



It also helps me connect people who may have similar interests, and can benefit from sharing their experiences.

Look at implementing Nutanix Files.
Working on a few updates to my powershell daily report that collects info from the API.. collecting all the cluster information we need on a daily basis, and integrating AFS/Files into the report..



With the lack of WMI (obviously), our automated file management tool needs to know how much space there is on a given AFS namespace and share before directing files to it.. so trying to get that out also - and to use it to update the management tool DB that holds SMB shares and their free space (which is usually updated via WMI) ;)

Preparing to update our Veeam to the new direct Nutanix integration- looking forward to that!
We will deploy nutanix AHV and migrate all VM from VMware to AHV on June 2019, hope everything goes smooth..
Working on upgrading to Files 3.5 to demo file analytics. Also moving DR to Xi Leap physical to physical cluster in PC.

Additional nodes ordered waiting for delivery before expanding. and then testing files 3.5

Building a management infrastructure using Nutanix VMs for File-as-a-service offering.
Currently working to upgrade our cluster to AOS 5.10.3.1 and upgrade HBA firmware via LCM!
I'm currently working on building a home lab using Nutanix for more hands on experience.
We are still trying to fine tune our new Nutanix environment
Finally moving away completely from VMware to embrace AHV.

Next we're rolling out ERA! 💪

I am working on virtualizing my entire environment. I need to calculate if I need to buy more Nutanix hardware as we speak.
working on keeping our 3 nodes cluster up and running with updates and maintenance
Currently working on gaining my NCP Certification

  1. Getting ideas and preparing for the next Nutanix User Group session in Singapore.
  2. Getting my team members to carry out 1-click upgrade for the hypervisor running on Nutanix. The 1-click upgrade is going to patch the hypervisor as well as the NCC and LCM.
I'm currently preparing for NCP exam. Apart from the online courses any tips on how to learn Nutanix and its features effectively? Thanks!
