5 Essential Tips for Maximizing Your Experience at Nutanix .NEXT for Bloggers
I'm in the middle of a project for the Department of Treasury to migrate their existing Citrix XenDesktop environment from a legacy, outdated, and under-sized traditional VMWare 5.1 infrastructure to a new Nutanix backed, VMWare 6 cluster. The performance increase already has been very impressive! Once I'm done with that, it's on to standing up an Enterprise Microsoft SQL server offering on Nutanix, as well. Fun times!
Good luck, ! We completed our upgrade last week and it went smooth - no issues. Here's hoping you guys are as lucky.
Thanks for the quick response, ! I'm assuming something like the release of the public sizer will be an announcement I could be looking out for? I appreciate your help!
Thanks, . I'll research those two options further and will schedule to reach out to my team. Thanks!
Sure - I normally use Google Chrome. I'm currently running version 50.0.2661.94 m. I've also tried loading the Capacity page with Internet Explorer, version 11.0.9600.18314, and Mozilla Firefox, version 47.0. No change. Is there anything else you would like me to try specifically?
Would you recommend then that I start jumping through the hopes of opening a Dell Tech. Support case to get a Nutanix representative involved?
Thanks, ! I appreciate the prompt confirmation and information dissemination. I'll be looking out for the Hot Fix to restore this functionality.
Thanks, guys! I look forward to seeing the fix hit the streets for the general public. I certainly appreciate the update!
Just a quick update - I have upgraded our Prism Central from 4.7 to 4.7.0.1 and the Cluster Capacity Runway has been restored. As a plus, with no loss of previous data! Thanks again for all of the help and for the quick turnaround on the fix release!
: I can confirm that with Prism Central 4.7.1 installed, I am currently able to view Capacity Forecasts for both clusters running 4.7.0 and 4.7.1. I am not experiencing this issue, myself. Good luck resolving this!
This is definitely similar to my issue, in some regards, but differs in others. Where yours shows "N/A," for Not Applicable, mine dispaled NaN, for Not a Number - indicative of a bug/issue. Now, yours too may be a bug, I'm not a Nutanix developer. I'm just pointing out differences in case it helps.
