5 Essential Tips for Maximizing Your Experience at Nutanix .NEXT for Bloggers
Sadly not addressed by the latest NCC 3.9.3, although this was clutching at straws!
We are running with metro and non metro containers also and yes - you are right, although the alert seen is a bit mis-leading. We are using vSphere 6.5 so affinity rule-sets are in place to prevent VMs wandering between non-local cluster nodes. However some of these need to be using a local container only but still can get flagged as incorrectly place. Added to the above, another strange issue to manifest is that going from PC to PE works fine, but refreshing PE during the same browser session gets stuck at ‘Loading...’. Tried this on different browsers between Windows and MacOS and get same result. This is since AOS 5.10.8 and 5.10.8.1 seemingly.
Hi, Probably a bit late to the discussion so apologies, but we are still on VMware ESXi, 6.5.0, 8294253 as supplied by Nutanix and running on NX-TDT-2NL3-G6. Is there a Nutanix install guide to apply ESXi 6.7U3 - do we need to upgrade or completely re-foundation the nodes? Thanks in advance.
@sbarab Thanks for the info - appreciated.
Hi, Hope you are keeping well in these ‘interesting times’! Just echoing the above and flagging an open case raised last week for the same issue and an effect of the upgrade to AOS5.15. Since the upgrade, several (but not all) CVMs in a 16 node metro cluster are reporting: Disk space usage for root on Controller VM x.x.x.x has exceeded 80%. Possible Cause Increased CVM system root partition usage due to excessive logging or incomplete maintenance operation. I understand how this alert works but it’s a bit frustrating that after a standard upgrade, we have to engage with support for something that wasn’t an issue or flagged before. This isn’t the first time we have been in this situation. The suggestion above is certainly one to be tried! Best regards, Chris
Hi Askar_sre and all, Worked for me! Many thanks Chris
We tested Win11Pro with vTPM in a production Frame enviroronment recently running on AHV el7.nutanix.20220304.342 & AOS 6.5.2 with no issues.
