Im working on a horizon 7.x implementation on my Nutanix platform.

Currently looking at the pros and cons of moving from Citrix Cloud to Nutanix Xi Frame.

At the moment it is looking great for Xi Frame hoping to be rolled out in the next few months!

Planning the move from ESXi to AHV

Hello from Saskatoon!

My organization just signed off on an all new Nutanix implementation. We’re migrating our 2 datacentres from VMware ESXi 5.5 to Nutanix. At the same time we’re standing up a third site for DR, retention, and lab. So I’m in the process of learning all I can about everything Nutanix!

Now working on full consolidation of the datacenter to HCI and exploring features like Flow and native DR.

I'm migrating our VMs from VMware to AHV and implementing the Karbon environment to test this feature.

Working on automating Nutanix component firmware upgrades using the LCM and Prism APIs for nearly 1000 nodes.

We just started upgrading our 14 clusters/62 nodes to AOS 5.10.10.1 version.

In paralel we’re running a PoC on an archiving solution, aiming to migrate almost 600TB of engineering analysis files to Cloud.

Relocating headquarters to a brand new construction while balancing infrastructure on our DR cluster as well as rebuilding and redeploying the prod environment at the new location.  Aiming to complete with no significant downtime thanks to protection domains, teamwork and some clever planning.

I’m working on my professional growth, that is why I am studying Nutanix, VMware and Veeam.

VDIs …. IAAS…  and building really nice DR systems with Nutanix!

We are moving the majority of our infrastructure to smaller, more manageable clusters.

We are preparing for an upgrade to ESXi and AOS.

Adding nodes to our  Nutanix VDI infrastructure.

I’m Jonathan and I work for Shropshire Council in England.   I’m just starting out on the training for NCP 5.15.

I am working on passing NCP 5.10 then NCAP 5.10.

Expanding our Corp remote access solution on Nutanix :)

Hello everyone, discovering Nutanix world. As solution architect I have to develop the better offer for our customers, and Nutanix have such of very interesting features that could easily be intagrated.

I hope this is just the beginning of a long adventure.

Hello to all.

Like many others here, I am trying to get my feet wet with Nutanix CE.  In my case, this is my attempt at learning about the technology in preparation for an actual production deployment coming up soon at my place of work.

I intend to use two DELL PCs with SSD/HDD combo.  Each has a quad-core i7 and 16GB RAM.

Looking forward to learning and maybe eventually even pursue a certification.

Hi, I’m Robby from Indonesia. I am an Network Administrator

Preparing to upgrade BMC on our 3 node cluster.

Move last few Dev/Test VMs from Azure back to our on-prim Nutanix servers.

Implementing new Nutanix hardware (3 additional nodes) to existing cluster and then implementing Nutanix Xi Frame to run virtual desktops.

Hi:

I am trying to find out about how Nutanix can help my company build a VDI environment for traders. In addition to the flexibility of a VDI environment, the emphasis is on delivering high resolution graphics to the traders machines.

The current physical trader set up is as follows:

1 X IPTrade Virtual Turret (Trader phone lines)

8  x 19” Planar monitors

2 X NVIDIA Quadro P2000 Graphics Card (4 ports)

OS Name:                   Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise
System Model:              HP Z6 G4 Workstation
System Type:               x64-based PC
Processor(s):              2 Processor(s) Installed.
                           [01]: Intel64 Family 6 Model 85 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~3192 Mhz
                           [02]: Intel64 Family 6 Model 85 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~3192 Mhz
Total Physical Memory:    64 GB
Network Card(s):           3 NIC(s) Installed.
                           [01]: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE
                           [02]: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection X722
                           [03]: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (3) I219-LM

The applications include Bloomberg, Citrix Receiver based apps, Java based applications, Web based apps (all with graphics intensive requirements). I am trying to determine if Nutanix fits the bill specially with intense graphics needs. Also, I would like to find out what Nutanix components are needed to implement such VDI environment.

What workstations have been approved by Nutanix (HP, Dell, etc.)?

I work in New York City. Any info will be appreciated

Hi this is Talal, and I am a fan of Nutanix, and I am here to get certified and learn from others experiences with this great technology.

Now I am working on build a test environment using CE.
