Is that error captured from the ntnxcollector.log file?Am I correct to assume that the host has default port configuration and the firewall on the host is not blocking the traffic?
Hello Alona,
yes, captured in ntnxcolletor.log:
2020-11-17 16:08:00,783 ERROR: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='192.168.10.141', port=5986): Max retries exceeded with url: /wsman (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.VerifiedHTTPSConnection object at 0x0000019C2759D648>: Failed to establish a new connection: :WinError 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it'))
All firewalls on the host are off.
Hello Alona, on the target hyper-V servers netstat -an shows listening on port 5985. But in the error messages port 5986! will be addressed… ???
@Michael Hoenemann - Can we assist in anyway if the issue is not resolved?
Kindly provide us expectation. We will talk with our dev team if issue persist on multiple host/different scenario for your environment
