I am using Foundations for Windows, cabled directly into switch, deploying to new Dell R630s bare metal, same subnet. I go through the wizard fine, IPMI credentials are verified, iDRAC works fine, IMPI over LAN enabled. The install fails with the above Exception. I can post more logs if desired.

I have:
- turned off Windows Firewall
- updated host firmware
- ran the Foundations program as an Administrator in Windows
- verified physical connectivity

The complete error message is:

Exception: Imaging <bmc_utils._remote_boot_idrac.RemoteBootIdrac8 object at 0x000001C3A99CDFA0> requires USERSPACE_NFS feature, try run foundation with root/administrator.

Google did not turn up anything with this. Any suggestions?

You need to start foundation as administrator (right click on the icon: run as administrator)

Yes, I even tried rebooting the laptop and then doing right-click and Run As Administrator, same error. Any other suggestions?

This seems to be an unsupported piece of hardware: Nutanix Hardware Platforms

I show that it is, under Third-Party Platforms ANY - R630 10 SFF Hardware Compatibility (nutanix.com)

Which AOS version have you tried?

Thanks for that suggestion! Seemed feasible. I downloaded the AOS 6.5.3.5 image, and used that in Foundations, and it gave the same error message.

I've seen many strange error's with the windows foundation. Can you try it with the foundation vm?
