I ma installing remotely Nutanix AHV cluster in very isolated environment, where for everything had to request firewall rules. IPMI is in different non-routable subnet, other that AHV and CVM. Firewall team confirmed that they don’t see any blocked traffic, but Foundation fails with error like this:

Any thoughts how to bypass this?

So the foundation machine cannot access the ipmi?

Server were foundation app is installed can access IPMI based on firewall rules. However during foundation process image cannot be attached to IPMI.

I have worked around that by connecting dedicated networks to the server and instaling Virtual box with Foundation VM. Then have created 3 NICs with correct mapping to physical server and assigned IP in each subnet with dedicated GW. That way routing was working to each subnet. That allowed me to complete foundation.
