Are the MAC addresses assigned to a VM at creation static - as with other hypervisors the MAC address can be changed at reboot.

By default MAC address is dynamically generated during NIC addition and they. Please refer to KB-3670 for changing MAC address on a VM’s NIC.
From the same KB:
“It is not possible to change MAC address in existing NIC. NIC has to be deleted and then added back with new MAC address specified.”
Hence the MAC address will not change on the power cycle of the VM. I have also tested this in the lab and it remains the same.
