Expand Node Dell XC630 and XC640

Dear all,

I have previously asked, but it was wrong forum, i have existing cluster with Dell XC630-10 4 node, and i want to expand capacity in my cluster, but my team can only buy new hardware ( dell XC640 ) cannot buy dell xc630-10 again, can i expand my cluster with different hardware? and please advice about the step to expand my cluster

Hi,
basically that's no problem.
do the new node(s) have more storage than the existing ones? if yes, you would have to add two of them to the cluster.
if you have ESX you should take care of the EVC settings

can you explain to me more detail?

this is my existing environtment, i have 4 node existing with XC630-10 and evc in cluster already enabled
