One of the awesome things about community, is the sharing and learning that can happen. It's always encouraging to see others want to help solve problems they are not directly involved in, offer new idea's to old problems and look for new ways of doing things.

It also helps me connect people who may have similar interests, and can benefit from sharing their experiences.

I thought this would be a great place to share what you are working on, get introduced to the community and let us know how we can help. Add your comments below, and let's begin the conversation.

We have an EPIC community, let's connect and help each other power the next generation of enterprise computing.

I’m working on my professional growth, that is why I am studying Nutanix, VMware and Veeam.

Relocating headquarters to a brand new construction while balancing infrastructure on our DR cluster as well as rebuilding and redeploying the prod environment at the new location.  Aiming to complete with no significant downtime thanks to protection domains, teamwork and some clever planning.

We just started upgrading our 14 clusters/62 nodes to AOS 5.10.10.1 version.

In paralel we’re running a PoC on an archiving solution, aiming to migrate almost 600TB of engineering analysis files to Cloud.

Working on automating Nutanix component firmware upgrades using the LCM and Prism APIs for nearly 1000 nodes.

I'm migrating our VMs from VMware to AHV and implementing the Karbon environment to test this feature.

Now working on full consolidation of the datacenter to HCI and exploring features like Flow and native DR.

Hello from Saskatoon!

My organization just signed off on an all new Nutanix implementation. We’re migrating our 2 datacentres from VMware ESXi 5.5 to Nutanix. At the same time we’re standing up a third site for DR, retention, and lab. So I’m in the process of learning all I can about everything Nutanix!

Planning the move from ESXi to AHV

Currently looking at the pros and cons of moving from Citrix Cloud to Nutanix Xi Frame.

At the moment it is looking great for Xi Frame hoping to be rolled out in the next few months!

Im working on a horizon 7.x implementation on my Nutanix platform.

Deciding what Nutanix hardware to purchase to replace current Nutanix (which will be used as DR).

Hello! Joining the Nutanix community to learn more about the product. I have a home lab currently running VMWARE. I am currently giving KVM a try as well as Nutanix.

DR Planning

Hi All, currently I’m working on building a solid pipeline with a lot of Nutanix deals :sunglasses:

Testing VDI in our environment

Investigating other hyperconvergence solutions not VMware. This is an DC arquitect in continious looking for new and more efficient DC solutions….

I am working on migrating more workloads off our older infrastructure onto our Nutanix Cluster.

We are building a new backup control center using Nutanix & AHV.

Upgrading to AOS 5.17 and setting up hybrid cloud with AWS.

Migrating from one nutanix cluster to other site.

Hi all! Anwar, NUG champion of the Northern VA (DMV chapter). We have a 6-node cluster currently running ESXi 6.7. We completed a firmware upgrade to our plexxi switches within the Nutanix cluster to the latest, greatest. This is my 2nd Nutanix environment that I’ve managed and supported. We have had no issues to date!

Planning to upgrade LCM version to 2.3.1
