Hi Michael,
we’re using AHV.
regards
@Dominix_pf Can you provide me with more details? A screen shot? What keyboard layout do you need? As much detail as possible. The console library that is utilized is based on VNC so trying to connect the dots.
Thanks

Hi Michael,
sorry I have been very busy these last days.
I have a french layout keyboard, I connect to some VM that are configured with french layout keyboard, but in the nutanix console, in the terminal, the layout looks like english layout.
if I type “aaa” it display “qqq”, so to my point of view, it is the console that send keycode as a english layout. (tested quite a lots of key, all looks like english layout)
@Dominix_pf I got some feedback based on your output from our engineering team. As of the current version of VNC on Nutanix we don’t support international keyboard layouts. It is a know issue and it on the list to support several different keyboard layouts in the next version. I don’t have any information as to when that might be available but please do keep an eye our for updates.
As a work around you can utilize a full feature VNC/RDP stack for this support until the features are updated to support international keyboards.
Sorry this is not the best of news but Nutanix values customer feedback. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
