Recertification Update: Grace Period Extended - Act Now to Stay Active

We’re providing a one-time extension of the recertification grace period to help you with the transition. Continue reading to learn more.  

As you know, last January Nutanix University announced a new recertification policy that impacts all technical certifications - Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA), all Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), and Nutanix Certified Master (NCM). Unless you take action to renew them within 2 years of the date they were earned, they will expire and no longer be valid. This policy gives you a way to show that you are keeping your skills current and continually developing new ones.

Many of you have already taken action to recertify, and we thank you for your continued involvement in the program. However, if you have not and your most recent certification is more than 2 years old you still need to act soon to keep your certifications active. 

To help ease the transition, we are providing a one-time extension of the recertification deadline from June 30, 2023 to August 14, 2023.

Depending on your highest level of certification, you have multiple options to recertify:

To see your certification status, log into your Nutanix University account and go to the Certification tab under My Activities. There you’ll see the date your certification was issued and the date by which you must renew it.

Note, this extension does not apply to the Elevate Partner Program. For Elevate partners all NCA and NCP-MCI versions 5.XX must be replaced with versions 6.XX by July 31, 2023.
