I have been banging my head against the wall for the last week with the same issue described here:

I was so excited to see someone had the same issue, however, their resolution won't work for me, unfortuantely. Or maybe it will, that's why I am here.
Has anyone here had the same issue? Were you able to install different NIC drivers to resolve the issue? Or how did you resolve the issue?

Had the same issue, if you install the intel e1000 from the command line you can get this to work.
