The case has been SOLVED.
Dear Jeroen,
its a production environment, i might do this but would need approvals from management.
I have run the command and below is the output.
** SSH to PCVM via 'nutanix' user will be restricted in coming releases. **
** Please consider using the 'admin' user for basic workflows. **
nutanix@NTNX-IP-A-PCVM:~$ du -a /usr/local/nutanix | sort -n -r | head -n 5
du: cannot read directory ‘/usr/local/nutanix/secure/bin’: Permission denied
5027604 /usr/local/nutanix
738284 /usr/local/nutanix/prism
618700 /usr/local/nutanix/lib
488796 /usr/local/nutanix/prism/webapps
399156 /usr/local/nutanix/bin
First try to find the folder which is having the large data in it: du -a /usr/local/nutanix | sort -n -r | head -n 5
Then see if that data van safely be removed.
but as this is no production environment (as support is expired) you can also delete prism central and reinstall it ;)
Thanks Jeroen, I have checked this earlier, the steps mentioned is related to the Home partitions however the issue here is related to ROOT partition.
I have tried clearing logs of upto 10 GB in home folder but it did not help to reduce even a single KB in root partition.
the total size of the Root partition is 10 GB and its 96% FULL.
Looking for some urgent advise.
