How do I copy a snapshot configuration to a CD disk or laptop HD? Worse case scenario I lose the NTNX configuration so, I’ll need to reimage my NTNX from last good configuration. Please help...

@aea The best way to recover your configuration- including the VM settings and data will be using backup solution. Can you please explain in detail about what do you mean by re-imaging? 

If it’s AHV host, Nutanix can provide you the OS

If it’s VMs, only way to recover is backup as the VM is always in transience and data can’t essentially be backed up in the local desktop.

We wouldn’t suggest using Nutanix snapshots for backing up the configuration/data. 

If you are looking for a template from where you can copy the VM settings and basic data, there’s also a “clone” option in Nutanix. You can clone a “good state VM” and use it as a base template for other VMs.
