Near sync and backup showstopper

Using near sync replication in AOS 5.5 means that normal snapshots on VMs cannot be initiated by external backup tools like comtrade, rubrik

This is a bit of a showstopper. If we need an RPO of 15 minutes on AHV, we have to use nearsync - but then we can't backup VMs off the cluster

When will Nutanix resolve this rather major downside?

vStorage - Agree that this is a major disadvantage. It is on the roadmap to be addressed. Currently it's scheduled for the 5.5.2 release.

5.5.0.6 currently - whats generally time-frame on 5.5.1 and 5.5.2 in terms of months between?
