Is it viable to still write NCP-MCI 5.15 certification before the expiry date 11 Feb 2022 ?
I have not previously written any NCP-MCI certification.

Certainly viable, but your success will depend on how much knowledge you already have. I would not expect someone to start from zero and pass the exam in three weeks, but if you have been in IT for a while and have worked with AOS for 6-12 months then its doable.
Note that the training is free, and you can still get a free voucher after completing it.
