Nutanix Files logs

Where on a Nutanix Files instance can I find logs regarding the creation and modification of directories within a given share?  Particularly I’m looking for logs showing the creation of a directory and then a scripted action to modify the permissions on said directory.  Is this something that is logged?  If so, where would that log reside?

Hello, 

There is no special log file from Nutanix that logs the cmods and the directory modifications. 

I’m not sure if there is another generic way beside checking the shell history and the .bash_history files.

I think the solution you’re looking for is File Analytics.
For a file server, human-readable logs of file operations (folder or file creation, by who and when) is usually unavailable or a debug only option simply due to the size of logs that would likely be created.
