Foundation is how we build and configure Nutanix clusters and many customers would prefer to make use of more advanced network technologies like LACP to improve the cluster performance and provide redundancy.
LACP increases bandwidth, provides graceful degradation as failure occurs, and increases availability. It provides network redundancy by load-balancing traffic across all available links. If one of the links fails, the system automatically load-balances traffic across all remaining links.
Foundation 4.2 introduces LACP support for the standalone Foundation. For more information about the supported hypervisors and requirements, please see the KB article titled: LACP Support in Foundation.
