Question

Integrate 2 tenant network

We have 2 Nutanix prism tenants and would like to share the VM resources to keep the logs such as the SNMP logs and Syslog together, Our local services suggest having 2 public IPs to connect it with the VPN tunnel.  Is it possible to configure the virtual network for this solution without the Public IP?

I’m not sure it is the best practice to connect 2 local tenants with the VPN tunnel so the packet will route through the public network.

I dont get the question.

You have 2 separate nutanix clusters? You would like to have a single snmp/syslog collector to store information from both clusters?

And the clusters are in a different location and not accessible from each other?

@JeroenTielen Thanks for your prompt response.

- You are correct.

And the clusters are in a different location and not accessible from each other?

- I’m not sure about the location, It’s not able to access each other though.

Thanks,

Well to store the syslog/snmp information on the same machine, the clusters must have access to that specific log machine. Yes, you can use a VPN for that.

Is it require the public IP for the VPN connection? Is this the best practice on the Nutanix cluster, please?

Please advise :)
