Nutanix Technical Certifications are designed by industry experts to validate the skills and knowledge you've acquired to successfully deploy, manage, optimize, and scale your Enterprise Cloud. There are several tracks available to let you build a career development path that meets your current and future goals and experience level.

You might be wondering, which certification is right for you? Here’s a breakdown to help you decide!

Certification Levels

There are 4 levels you can choose from based on your experience level.

Associate Level: Candidates at this level have approximately 6-12 months of holistic IT infrastructure experience as well as 3-6 months of experience in Nutanix virtualization. They’re typically a systems administrator, junior engineer, or IT operator.

Professional Level: Successful NCPs have approximately 1-2 years of holistic IT infrastructure experience and 6-12 months of Nutanix virtualization experience. At this level you focus on specific technology concentrations, including end user computing, database automation, and data services (more on these further down).

Master Level: NCM candidates typically have 1-2 years of experience working with Nutanix AOS with at least 6 months of experience working with AHV, as well as additional systems administration experience.

Expert Level: This level of certification is for Nutanix architects and recognizes your ability to create business-requirements-driven multicloud solutions using our proven design method.

Certification Concentrations

At the professional level, you select a specific technology track based on your area of focus.

Cloud Integration (NCP-CI): Measure your ability to plan, deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) within an AWS or Azure public cloud environment.

Unified Storage (NCP-US): Prove your skills and validate you can deploy, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, and perform administrative tasks on the Nutanix Unified Storage technologies: Files, Objects, and Volumes.

Multicloud Automation (NCP-MCA): Validate your Nutanix Calm skills and prove you’re comfortable with principles of automation, as well as the automation of infrastructure and single/multi-tiered applications within the Nutanix platform.

End User Computing (NCP-EUC): Test your end-user computing skills and prove your ability to successfully deploy, monitor, and administer EUC environments using Nutanix technologies.
