Try to apply an upgrade from a Windows server 2012 R2 to Windows 2019 using Microsoft ISO image, but always fails to show this message:

Has anyone managed to upgrade from Windows server 2012 R2 to Windows server 2019?

I would appreciate some help about the subject. Thanks in advance. Manuel.

You can upgrade to a newer version of Windows Server by up to two versions at a time. For example, Windows Server 2016 can be upgraded to Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2022. If you are using the Cluster OS Rolling Upgrade feature you can only one version at a time: Which version of Windows Server should I upgrade to?

Dear @Moustafa Hindawi

Thanks for your response. Sorry, I don't be certain. Our Sysadmin is out at the moment.

I will read docs about in-place upgrade.

Hello @Mavi

Kindly check the official docs from Microsoft: Perform an in-place upgrade of Windows Server

Is it a failover cluster?
