Nutanix Collector output doesn't has data of 95th Percentile Number of Writes/Reads

I have a question about "95th Percentile Number" for output of Nutanix collector 5.1.I am running I/O of Read/Write from vdbench on virtul machine of VMware environment (ESXi 7.0U1 and vCSA 8.0.0.10100)  , but the "95th Percentile Number of Writes" and "95th Percentile Number of Reads" values on "vHosts", "vCluster" and "vInfo"are 0.Could you please advise me on how to solve this problem.

Client couldn't run collector app; sent log error after unsuccessful call

A client was not able to run the collector app during a call. Nutanix Sizer vCPU to pCPU ratio

Is there a feature within the Nutanix Sizer that allows for manual adjustment of the vCPU to pCPU ratio? If so, could someone guide me through the process or point me to the relevant documentation or resources?

Nutanix cluster sizing for multiple DC

We have this HCI project that span in 4 different location data center with DR site in mind.Site 1400 VM + 10 PB Disk Site 2400 VM + 5PB Disk  Site 350 VM + 5PB DiskSite 4200 VM + 5PB DiskRF3 model VM and Disk capacity is based on 5 yr projected growth.VMs is between Large to XL type.We cannot come up with best DELL XC model for this setup is XC760 can accommodate this requirements?Any suggestions

Can't create DX360 Gen11 scinario with 4401Y CPU & SAS SSD

HI, I tried to create DX360 Gen11 8SFF scinario with 2x 4410Y CPU & 7.68TB 2.5 inch Samsung RI ---SSD(P56763-B21), but Sizer shows following message and I can’t save the config:---Due to thermal restrictions on DX360 Gen11 platforms, if 8470Q/6458Q processor is selected, then drive type can't be SAS SSD or NVMe in cluster "Cluster-1". ---I think it should be fixed, or could you please show a workaround?

RPO is in days, but falls under the 6 hour RPO check

I want to create a configuration in Sizer that takes a snapshot once a day.However, an error message is displayed on Sizer and configuration is not possible."Cluster: 'Cluster-1' nodes with SSD capacity less than 7.68TB are not allowed when configuring Hybrid nodes with RPO of 6 hour and node capacity ranging from >96TB upto 136TB. For more info, refer to Nutanix Maximum Configurations & Snapshot Frequency Field Requirements"Sizer's workload only has Daily Snapshots set."Hourly Snapshot Retained" is unchecked.However, for some reason, the condition check for 6 hours RPO is caught, and the hardware cannot be configured.What should I do to remove this error?

Sizing error: VMs in cluster shouldn't exceed total cluster nodes

Hi, I’m trying to make some changes to a configuration I put together for a customer, in relation to the Mine backup. I am trying to alter any aspect (in particular I’m trying to change the retention to be longer, wtih  fewer VM’s) - but each time I try I get the error “ The number of Server Virtualisation VMs in cluster: CLUSTER should not be more than total nodes in the cluster. “ Anyone know what this is please?

Sizing Mine with Veeam

Hi everybody,i’m trying to Size a Mine appliance with Veeam (Workload: Mine (v2) with Veeam) leaving all default and with Nutanix Hardware and i get the error below:No Optimal Solution found for following cluster(s) due to:MineModel not supported for standalone backup mineIn order to generate an optimal solution, please try modifying the workload requirements and/or sizing options. You can also try switching the Sizer Policy profile or re-configuring the selected Sizer Policy profile. If i try the same with HYCU it works as expected.Any suggestion?Thank you

Collector: Questions on vCPU/CPU calculation and calculated CPU count

Hi! I have two doubts related to Collector´s vcpu and cpu calculation.1) I couldn't find the information on the vcpu/cpu ratio per VM in Collector's Excel spreadsheet? Please, how is it calculated when we perform workload upload per VM? 2) In Sizer, I performed a manual modeling from Collecto´s Excel spreadsheet information as a “Raw Input” and compared it to the automatic per VM-upload modelling.In the analyzed scenario, the customer has 440 CPU Cores distributed in 19 physical servers/hosts in the current environment (vhost table information)  My calculations/modelling for a “Raw Input” is the same for the overall resources calculated by the automatic per VM upload (RAM, Datastore), except for the total o CPU cores in the cluster.The automatic per-VM upload/calculation was performed with the following settings: As result, the workload was modeled with 552 CPU cores:  Please, why does the per-VM upload have 100 more CPU cores than the existing customer´s environment (552 vs 440 from t

Splunk Workload Ingest per Indexer

I am curious why when sizing a Splunk workload and increasing the performance profile for the indexers it doesn’t increase the ingest rate per indexer rather than keeping it at 100 GB.  By not doing this, it keeps the same number of indexers Nutanix thinks it needs even though each indexer has more CPU/RAM.  I could be missing something simple here, but I would like to hear other thoughts.Capacity Planning Manual: Summary of performance recommendations

Nutanix Collector 4 Error with Hyper-V

Hi. I’m trying to use Nutanix collector 4.0 to collect Hyper-V sizing information, however the following error message is displayed during the scanning phase:“Bad http response returned from the server. Code: 500. Content”I tried to use it with Remote option and locally on a cluster member and the same happens.Running the precheck script it shows these failures on the picture: The user logged in is a Domain Admin and local admin, however the script returns a failure about the user rights. Does anyone know how can I enable the “Basic auth” stated on the script output?I also tried Collector version 3.5.1 with no success.Any tips?

Tengo unas cargas que fueron tomadas con Live Optics para unos nodos que corren Microsoft Hyper-V,¿Cuál puede ser la forma más eficiente para subir estas cargas a Nutanix Sizing? ¿Qué método oficial tiene Nutanix para manejar estos escenarios? ¿Existe documentación oficial de Nutanix donde se pueda aprender cómo subir las cargas de Live Optics?
