As an example, I have a set of users, all of which need full view access (no console). However, a subset of those users need console access to a subset of VMs. I”m not sure how this might be implemented. We are running 5.20.2.01. I’m not quite sure how to implement.
We have a subset of VMs that a group of users needs readonly and console access. This is not difficult with RBAC using categories. However, when we clone these systems for testing or new deployment, the assigned categories don’t get inherited from the source VM. Since we do this often, this is a management headache. Is this standard behavior? If so, any ideas on how to do this easily? I was hoping projects might be helpful, but I can’t find much useful documentation or examples to guide me.
We are new to Nutanix. We are migrating from ESXi to AHV. We currently have some level of CPU oversubscription in place on ESXi. We anticipate the need to oversubscribe CPU on some clusters and I am looking for ways to do this safely. I’ve looked in the Best practices guide but there was very little there. Any help would be appreciated.
