Hi, I often get the error of: Warning : Disk space usage for /home on Controller VM... Does anyone have a definitive list of what needs to be deleted beyond the installation files? or a script that deletes the un-needed files? Surely it is something Nutanix should be building in to the system, I never have problems with VMware running out of installation space! Thanks Eric
I have a bunch of VM (>300) converted from vmware, and I have to classify them with categories and projects. I tried in powershell with the rest API, but when I GET the VM characteristics and use ConvertTo-Json to build new json file, it does not "expand" embedded arrays like disk_list, nic_list... so cannot send the PUT request correctly Does someone have an example to set/update categories and project for a VM ?
We are preparing to migrate about 350TB of data from our existing 3-tier architecture to a Nutanix hybrid solution. Our storage pool is 480TB in size with about 25% SSD before storage efficiency kicks in. We have post-compression turned on as well as cache deduplication. We are going to attempt to migrate 50-100 VM's per night, and we are afraid that we will overrun our SSD tier eventually. Is there a way for me to run a data tiering job, or force the data to destage lower, daily after the migrations are done so that it doesn't impact our future migrations? Thanks in advance
