Connecting Cloud Innovators: Building Community at .NEXT 2024
Hello, After a new deployment, I downloaded the kubeconfig and upon trying to approve a Certificate Signing Request (CSR), the csr just sits in an approved state, but never becomes Issued. Is there a restriction or something on the default-kubernetes-<clustername> user that I might not be familiar with? That or maybe my process is wrong, its odd that it just sits in an Approved state. Any help is appreciated!
Hi, I am a Newbie for Nutanix Karbon and I would like to know that whether the “SSH Access” under the Cluster tab allows to access node in any Kubernetes cluster or it only allows to access a node that is in a Karbon-created Kubernetes cluster?
Good dayI have a few questions regarding PVs on Karbon Clusters. Is there a way to access Persistent Volumes created by Kubernetes besides getting to it from within the pod the volume is mounted? If the PV has status Released, can I still be able to access it without having to bind it again?Basically, I want to know if the data on Karbon PVs can be accessed via ssh, or something else other than K8s pods. If backups are saved on a PV, can I access the data from another VM besides the cluster worker nodes?
I'm trying to configure a new Kubernetes cluster using Karbon. When I get to the stage of configuring the storage class, I'm prompted for a user name and password. I'm not sure which user I should be entering here, as the few I've tried don't seem to work. The cluster setup tutorial video shows the username `admin`, which seems to suggest using a very highly privileged user, which seems unnecessary to me. How can I create a user with the minimum privileges necessary for the storage class?
Need details how to store passwords as a secure string and use in a script for access to multiple Prism sites. I have a script to collect storage data from multiple Nutanix sites via Prism. Now I need to remove the plain text passwords. I have located references but only find "NOTE: for security reasons we should store our passwords as a secure string, by declaring these as variables before starting PowerShell." Can anyone provide the steps required to make this work?
