Hi @JeroenTielenThanks for your information...but my concern is more about specification of TOR Switch to maximize performance of Nutanix Storage using NVME + SSD. Is it enough using 10Gb switch or must use more than 10Gb like 25Gb/100Gb? Thanks
Hi @bcaballero ,In that link there was information from Hardware Restriction You can mix nodes that use different CPU families in the same cluster, but not in the same block. For example, a cluster can contain nodes from any NX generation, but a G7 block must contain only G7 nodes, a G8 block must contain only G8 nodes, and so on.For this statement “a cluster can contain nodes from any NX generation” means there no limitation about combine old generation with new generation. But is it confirm there will be no issue about the combination like that? Thanks
Hi @Neel Kotak , From technical view, when expand node with different hardware vendor is possible can the node join to cluster? Thanks
Hi @Roberteo , Example : Existing cluster with 3 node using Vlan 10 then want to add 3 new node using Vlan 20. Thanks, Hendra
@sbarab Thanks for your sharing..
@sbarab : But best practice from Nutanix to expand capacity as i see on KB was add new node rather than swap old disks. Is there any concern that Nutanix has aware for that solution, let say swap old disks was not HCI concept or other thing? Let say customer don’t have concern about more CPU and memory. Thanks, Hendra
Hello, Can i expand storage with replace existing Disk on node with higher size Disk? And what pro and kontra if expand capacity with add new node? Thanks, Hendra
Hi @Mutahir They assigned the public IP directly to Guest VM with one to one NAT mapping. I will inform user from your suggestion. Thanks
