Connecting Cloud Innovators: Building Community at .NEXT 2024
Hi All, In the last 4 months, I experienced two similar cases with different customers who used up too much of their available storage causing their cluster to show Critical status for Data Resiliency. Please check out the following KB article regarding the recommended guidelines for maximum storage utilization on a Nutanix cluster: https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/kbs/details?targetId=kA0600000008ducCAA. That article provided me with the required formula to calculate the exact threshold on storage utilization beyond which a Nutanix cluster becomes Not Data Resilient anymore. I hope this helps you out as well. Best Regards, Vishwapreet
Congratulations to everyone! I am honored, thankful, proud & excited to join the ranks of the NTC’s! Let’s make 2020 another memorable any-app-any-cloud year!
Hi @dlira, I downloaded your tool recently and ran it today for the first time on my Nutanix CE Homelab. My first impressions are very positive but I will need some more time to see whether NIACtool can be used to create As-Built documentation for customer builds. But I am already getting that good feeling of that other widely known tool RVTools for VMware vSphere environments. RVTools has already proven itself very useful for the above-mentioned goal but also for simple basic Health Checks. Perhaps you are already working on getting an export from NCC added to the NIACtool export? However, I have not come across that API call in the latest version 3. I think it is present in version 1? Thank you for your great efforts & Keep it up! Best Regards, Vishwapreet
Great to hear that you are working on getting Alarms added into a newer version of NIACtool! Thanks again for your efforts! Great things takes time to perfect. To show my appreciation, I have published a small post on my blog site: https://multicloudlife.com/?p=153
Congratulations NTC’s!Let’s make 2021 another memorable year!
Woah! The next major AOS version release! Thanks for sharing, @aluciani!
