5 Essential Tips for Maximizing Your Experience at Nutanix .NEXT for Bloggers
Hello. I have long been looking for a solution to this problem. Thank you for guide! Me too! Is there any nutanix work in progress to do it as a container live migration?
I’m having the same throuble, but with linux nfs clients. I would like to offer a high available and low latency nfs storage. I tried nutanix files, but I didnt like it because the high availability/load balancing features are poor. So I created a storage container and shared it among linux nfs clients. I’ve tried sdelete, but it isnt practical, because sdelete is too slow. Is there another way? I did a nfs_ls in the storage container… no files listed, but prism reports storage container is full. Is there a acli or ncli command to free space? Free space was restored about 3 hours later… so if you have frequent file creation/exclusion you need to set additional container space, proportionally to “3 hours of growth” to avoid run out space.

I need to do the same. Prism central is running in my main cluster and its with trial license. When I click Generate cluster summary it says "This operation will start the licensing process by putting the cluster into standby mode. Once activated, a new license must be applied. Cluster performance or functionality will not be impacted. Do you want to continue?". What means "standby mode"? I am a bit afraid, because I'm experienced with vmware's concept about "stand by mode". So, can I securely click "Yes"?

I think the best way is use Xtract (esxi--> ahv). It works with Windows 2008 and later. If you need to migrate windows 2000 and 2003 is a bit more complex, but its also possible.
Hello I did open a ticket , and there was some counters left from a previous issue that would never reset. For myself those values were : stat_name: "check.score"stat_value: 74stat_name: "check.111038.score"stat_value: 74stat_name: "check.overall_score"stat_value: 74 After resetting those stat vlaues by hand, the cluster services have returned and stayed green Best of luck to all Paul
Please inform how to reset such counters. I'm having same trouble.
