Agree with Mike, create PD and replicate data to NX platform. This will be the easiest and cleanest way for migration
Nope, it does not. You will have two choices:

Create PowerShell script/one-liner and put it into schedule on some windows box
Create Bash script/one-liner and put it into CVM cron schedule
thanks
Hi ice Can you elaborate more what exactly you meant by "schedule VM power state". thanks Artur
Hi vivekds 10Gbps you can have 1Gbps too, but you have to add vNIC to Vm manually
so, in current AOS release we do not support VHDX Below, list of format supported by image services raw, vhd, vmdk, vdi, iso, qcow2
Hi 1. Let me check if VHDX is supported by image services 2. Nutanix supports RAW format 3. We support SMB3, which means you have to be on Windows 2012R2 or Windows 8.1 or newer to access share on Nutanix. Not sute if Windows 2008R2 supports SMB3 or not NOTE: do not forget add client system into container whitelist, other wise you will not be abble to access share from clinet server
regmiboyerhave you sort this out?
Hey, let's start frm beginning Terminology: Host - ESXi host CVM - Nutanix CVM - part of Nutanix cluster vCenter - vCenter :D You do not have to stop Nutanix cluster prior stopping ESXi hosts. Most important is to stop all Guest VMs before shutdown ESXi hosts. VCenter should be powered off at the end - this will make guest Vms shutdown process easier. By default - CVM on every ESXi is configured to start and stop with the host automatically. So, when you shutdown (not power off) ESXi host, CVM will gracefullly shutdown as well. Same with powering ESXi node up. When you move all nodes to new rack, power all ESXi hosts at once. All CVM will boot up, more less, the same time and Nutanix cluster will start automatically. Let me know if you have more questions.
Hey, Cluster shut down

Stop all guest VM'sapplication - (leave CVMs powered on) - if you host vCenter on Nutanix. Powerd it off too (at the very end)note down ESXi host where vCenter was running
Shutdown ESXi hosts - one by one.
disconenct cables
move nodes to second rack
Cluster start

connect power and network cables
start all nutanix nodes - wait 10 minutes
log in to CVM over SSH
run # cluster status command - verify if all services on all CVMs are UPyou can run also cluster status | grep -i down - this will filter all services with status DOWN
if cluster is up and running - power vCenter server (connect to host where vCenter was up and runnig)
power all guest Vms
let me know if yoou have more questions.
Hi , Product name is http://www.surelinesystems.com/ check it and test it - it is paid per migrated server to AHV What OS versions you are planning to move to AHV?
Hi why would you need to remove SCSI controller for ?
Hi yes, you have to remove 1Gbps from bound0, leave it only 10GbE in the bound
Hi I replayed to your message on my facebook page but Iwill repeat here for broader audience. You have two options, VMware converter --> export to file ---> and import to AHV or wait few weeks and Nutanix will announce native P2V tool for AHV - 3'rd party partnership. Let me know shell you have more questions Thanks Artur
Hi , can you provide more info, please?

What is source hypervisor?
How many VMs
what is the tolarable downtime for application
operating system
thanks Artur
