Hi We currently don’t have that ability on PE, though there is in internal KB that mentions a python script to get some metadata usage stats but I will need to confirm if that is only for internal use at this point. Can you please share some details on why and what exactly are you interested in metadata usage of a cluster, so that I can discuss with relevant team and see if we can get some solution for this. ThanksShveta
Hi Nutanix_1979, I had reached out to Prism Central team . Currently we do not support this use case in xplay events trigger but after a discussion, we have filed an improvement for this request being tracked in: ENG-456033 ThanksShveta
Hi OsmanDincLet me look into your request and get back to you after some research.
Hi Nutanix_1979, Let me look into this request and get back to you.ThanksShveta
Hi @Jafar NearSync replication has recovery schedules with an RPO between 1–15 minutes. Called NearSync schedules, they are also practically asynchronous schedules with 15–minute or lower RPOs. You can configure the schedules for even 1 minute. Some of the advantages of NearSync replication are as follows.Protecting mission-critical applications. Securing data with minimal loss in a disaster. Providing more granular control during the restore process. No latency or distance requirements for fully synchronous replication. Allowing resolution of a disaster event in minutes. To implement the NearSync replication schedules, Nutanix introduces a technology called lightweight snapshots (LWS) to generate snapshots that continuously replicate incoming data generated by workloads running on the active cluster. The LWS snapshots are generated at the metadata level only. These snapshots are stored in the LWS store, which is allocated on the SSD tier. The LWS store is automatically allocated when yo
Hi Jafar, I have picked up your support case as well. I will get back to you with the details and documentation references shortly. ThanksShveta
Hi NareshM,Does the error message look like any of these?Possible Cause 1Upstream TOR switch has configuration or status change on the port connected to the CVMRecommendation: Ensure that the port connected to the CVM is up and in a forwarding stateDetails: Log into the upstream TOR switch and check for link down, Error Disable, etc. on the port connected to the CVM.Possible Cause 2Virtual switch in the Hypervisor is not working correctlyRecommendation: Contact Nutanix SupportDetails: Virtual switch in the Hypervisor is not working correctlyPossible Cause 3SSH Keys are set up incorrectlyRecommendation: Contact Nutanix SupportCan you please open a Support case so that the issue can be looked into detail via a remote session?
Hi Balram, The /clone API expects an idempotence identifier. To get the idempotence identifier, we can use the API idempotence_identifiers.It is mandatory to provide the count for how many identifiers we need and the lifetime until we can use it.Can you open a Support case if possible so that this can be looked into detail ?
Hi Adilm,RBAC isn’t available for Flow - Currently its Admin only view. Its scheduled for a future release.ThanksShveta
Hi Adilm, Let me look into this and get back to you. ThanksShveta Dave
Sizer makes recommendations on cluster configurations, but lots of other configurations are possible and we’d be happy to discuss something more tailored to your needs. Do you know how to contact your Nutanix account team? They will be best point of contact to answer your questions specific to your setup. Let me know if you need help in reaching out to them.
I am looking into this and will get back to you soon.
Hi Rolando0308, According to the sizer guide below , we use SPECInt 2006 which is now retired and replaced by the SPEC CPU2017 suite. https://sizer.nutanix.com/#/help/articles/155 “Applied weight” is a Nutanix concept, so you may not find a lot about it out on the web. It’s an attempt to allow a certain workload to be modeled on many different CPUs with varying clock speeds - not all CPU cores are created equally. I would like to request you to please reach out to your Account team and have a conversation about this with the aligned SE who can help you understand this concept in detail. Thanks Shveta Dave
Hi Rolando0308, I am working on getting the answers to your questions and I will post a reply soon.
