How to modify system alert policies | Prism central

Did you know that you can modify alerts in Prism Central? For example, you can modify an alert rather than using the defaults provided by Nutanix, say, change the threshold for data disk space usage or have some alerts marked as auto resolved, etc.

 

Here is an overview of the steps involved:

 

  1. Open the alert policy page.

  2. Search for the alert that you wish to modify and click on the pencil icon to edit.

  3. Change the global settings for the alert as per your requirement.

  4. You can also choose a cluster that you want to exclude from the policy in the exception section.

  5. Save the changes when you are done.
