Hi,
I also had the problem and my solution is:
  • Login on the VM via Console
  • execute the bat file "retainIP" in the directory "C:\Nutanix\Temp\ "

I did the same, manually executed the bat file also I didn't get the network is not up & running.

Hi,
The original network interface is hidden.
Xtract creates a new network interface.
Can you see the new network interface?
What happens if you make the reservation with the dhcp?
Badge
Hi,

You are correct, the original network interface is hidden.

But the new network interface was created by Xtract is not retrieve old static IP address.

Hi,

did you start the file with "run as administrator"?
Badge
Yes of course, I have started with run as administrator.

it's strange, I had just tried a windows 2102R2 export and work without problem.

What do you see in the C:\Nutanix\temp\ Log?
Can you see in the file wmi-dump your IP?

We had this happen on occasion. We just removed old Nic settings from registry and created a new one to save time as we never were able to figure out what caused this glitch.
