Is there are any way to configure web proxy for X-Ray?
The errors from error.log are below.

"Unable to connect to the authentication server: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='my.nutanix.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/v1/users/me (Caused by NewConnectionError(': Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno -2] Name or service not known',))",Failed to upload metadata: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='insights.nutanix.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /nusights/services/v1/putfile (Caused by NewConnectionError(': Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 110] Connection timed out',))

@aluciani Hi yes the new version of X-RAY is token based which you request from the portal so there is no longer a need for the X-RAY appliance to be internet connected.

Would have to look into the proxy. Have you tried configuring it through the network manager?

Of course I have tried this.
And all the tips from this thread https://next.nutanix.com/t5/Nutanix-X-Ray/Configure-proxy-for-login/m-p/22052#M10
But it doesn't help at all.

I have done a lot of testing with this error and the x-ray VM will use the proxy so if you browse to a normal website using firefox it will use the proxy settings. If you then fire up X-ray it seems the app ignores the proxy settings, the only way I got it working was with a direct internet connection. I have raised the issue with a Nutanix Tech and they are getting back to me, ill keep you posted on the response.

I have had meetings with Nutanix Tech and X-ray specialists who have hinted there will be a dark site version of X-Ray coming soon - so no more proxy issues.
