Nutanix Files Quota doesn’t come in effect even after saving settings.

When adding a user account to Active Directory and connecting to a new account, quota capacity is not displayed for the share and the total capacity is available. In this situation, the user may go over the quota limit and our software does not detect it right away. 


It takes between 10 to 15 minutes from user detection to quota policy application in the system.


This is because Nutanix Files software is only checking the quota usage at a 5-minute sampling interval. Reducing it further to lower value comes at a resource cost.
