We are looking to setup a Nutanix File Server on our ESX cluster, this file server will be housing 21TB of data. I know that we get 1TB for free, how to enable the licensing for the other 20TB as i believe it is per TB.

Yes, you are correct with your understanding. 1 TB is free depending upon your AOS valid license. I assume you already have AOS license. Nutanix File license is the option you should go with. it's priced based on used TB.
Note :- Usable TB includes (data + Snapshot).

It says we have 20 licenses, but how do i apply that to the cluster?

Sorry for the late response, I would suggest to log a case with our Support team if not already done in order to better support you. This will also help to understand the problem.

Hello, another question.

We will use 4 Nutanix cluster. Each cluster have 3 Nodes.
On each cluster we will use Nutanix files with 10 TB capacity.
Each cluster is in another location.
For data synchronisation for the files we will use Peer software.

What are the license requirements for Nutanix files?
10 (9) TB or 4 x 10 TB = 40 (39) TB

Hi

you will need on every cluster a new licencing for the 9 TB (as you get one for free per cluster).

In your case you will need to license 9TB per Cluster= 4x 9 TB.
