Even for professionals with years of experience and multiple certifications on their resume, preparing for an advanced exam can be a little intimidating. This quick guide is intended to help provide a few resources that can give you a jump start on your exam prep planning. We’ll update it regularly as new resources are developed, so you might want to bookmark this page.

As always: Start with the Exam Blueprint
The NCAP Exam Blueprint Guide should be your most used resource when preparing for the exam. It includes detailed information on the knowledge and skills you’ll be tested on, plus it provides links to supporting documentation, white papers, ebooks, etc. where you can find more information.

As you are reviewing the Exam Blueprint Guide, keep in mind that you may not need to dive deep into every topic – especially if you work with Nutanix on a daily basis. A good first step is to review each objective and ask yourself if you could explain it clearly and concisely to a new co-worker. If so, you probably don’t need to spend as much time studying that information.

In Person Training
While the Advanced Administration and Performance Management course from Nutanix Education doesn’t teach directly to the exam, it does cover the core concepts and technologies covered on the exam such as performance management for Nutanix clusters, how to optimize performance, fixing issues that slow down your system, and methods to improve datacenter performance.

Online Training and Videos
If you don’t have the time or budget for a formal training course videos and online courses can be a great alternative. By letting you home in on just the topics you need to focus on, you can maximize your study time.
