We have a 10 node cluster across 3 blocks that was running esx 5.5. We need to return this hardware and would like to clear/sanitize all the disks according to US DoD standards. I was thinking of mounting an ISO in the IPMI to do this, but I'm not sure if it would see all the disks. Is there a nutanix-recommended method to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Nutanix recommended documentation is here: https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/kbs/details?targetId=kA0600000008eiDCAQ

TLDR, we've certified Blancco as the data erasure solution for Nutanix appliances. It isn't all that expensive and it works really, really well. Also gives you a certified output that you can retain for your records / compliance team.
