Changing default gateway for CVM/AHV

Hi everybody,

We’re doing a slight restructure in our DC and in thus need to change the default gateway used by a Nutanix cluster (3-node cluster).
I’m aware of the following guide:

But isn’t it at all possible to change something as simple as just the Default Gateway without such an invasive procedure requiring downtime?
The part of the article on how to do it manually is...Non-existent:

Thank you so much for posting your question. There is a way without downtime, but our team hasn’t suggested using it for now. They are working on some solution but for now, they recommend using the method mentioned here:
